If you are camping here be prepared to level your unit. I don't believe there was a level sight in the park. Additionally, a lot of the park was not "functioning". The cable was out, the coin machine was broken in the laundry, there was allot of trash and debris in the play area, and the pool was clean but rough. On a better note. The people were very nice, the campground had a nice atmosphere, Yogi was out and about and available, and in all actuallity we had a good time. We did explore some of the other campgrounds and decided that when we are back in the area we will stay here again. There was one park very near that was nice, but did not offer the amenities for the children.

A very nice campground and well cared for. It has a very nice play area for children, and very clean pool, and a dog run for your best friend. The camp store was very well stocked with practical items. My only criticism is that the spots are fairly close and facing each other. If the park was busy you had better like your neighbor. However, if you are traveling in a group I think the facing sights would be nice. We will stay here again in the future.

This park is very clean and well kept. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. We stayed here for one week during the 4th holiday to visit various attractions in Cincinatti and Kings Island. If you are looking for somewhere to stop for a night or a week I think this park is more than ample.

We enjoyed the little touches to make a rather plain park have some ambiance. However, for the money I felt it was extremely overpriced. Additionally, the folks at the front desk were very nice, but had a really hard time operating the computer system and the credit card machine. When you make reservations make sure you are very clear on your dates and double check your receipts. I would stay here again if need be.

This is probably the newest state park in Indiana and is well maintained. However, there really isn't anything at this park like at others in Indiana. We didn't even find a playset. It may be there somewhere but we didn't find it. If you are looking for river access to the Ohio River this has it, and it has some nice trails to walk. However, this is not a destination campground in my opinion. You are very well positioned to get to Louisville easily and we utilized this as a homebase for our activities.

This is possibly the nicest park we have ever stayed in. It rivals Disney. The staff was outstanding, and the facilities were awesome. Not to mention that Holiday World is one of the neatest theme parks I have been to.

We arrived on the Thursday prior to memorial day and we were put in the rear of the park with all seasonal lots. This was a little different for us as we typically avoid parks heavily populated with seasonal users. Additionally, none of the units had been "opened" up for the season and looked rather dumpy. We nearly left, and I would have given this place a 1 or two simply because it looked terrible. I am glad we didn't. By Saturday evening the place had evolved into a beautiful park that had a nice mix of seasonal and short term campers and the multiple play areas for the kids were fantastic. I would suggest this park for anyone in the area looking for somewhere for kids to play and swim. My only complaint is that where we were in the seasonal lots the quiet hours seem to be ignored and not enforced, but it was a holiday weekend and everyone was out for the first good time of the summer.

We live about an hour from this park and had driven by and it looked very nice from the road. However, upon arrival with our 30' fiver with a single slide we discovered that it was grossly inadequate. There are no fire rings, but they couldn't possibly have them as you would burn down the unit next to you. I could not extend my slide as it would have been hitting the picnic table on the lot behind us. In other words the lots are very narrow. There is nothing for children at all. Also, we were made to feel very unwelcome with our Black Lab. And you have to pay to use the wifi. So, if you want to pull in and sleep. Good spot. If you are going to spend all of your time somewhere not here, good spot. If you want to "camp", terrible location. After much discussion I got a refund and we moved on for the weekend.
